We ended up staying in and around Cat Ba Island for about 5 days. It was wonderful. I took more photos than one would believe possible. Here are a couple but it hurt not to include a lot more.

Big Slovenia! June/July 2023
The Schlinks hit up Slovenia for about three weeks this summer. I took a lot of photos. Think about how much that might be and, double it. So I decided to do a few posts categorized by how big the subjects were, here are the big ones!
Catalonia (Penedes!) and Aragon 1/2022

The Aral Sea used to be the 4th largest freshwater lake in the world. There is not a lot left and is, is so salty only a certain species of tiny shrimp actually live, allegedly (I did not see any).
