We ended up staying in and around Cat Ba Island for about 5 days. It was wonderful. I took more photos than one would believe possible. Here are a couple but it hurt not to include a lot more.

I took this from the 2nd highest outcropping in the bay, it was not a fun hike but the view!
Vietnamese Fish Eagle! These guys were everywhere and the locals think they are a nuisance
