In both Samarkand and Bukhara (and I suspect in Khiva) I was overwhelmed with both color and structure/texture. B&W is way better for showing off the later and check out the previous post for color.

Thanks! Bukhara was a cool place and I am looking forward to going back. I would like to go when there are leaves on the trees. If you find yourself with time, check out the color photos. While the texture is impressive, the color is too.
